THE STUDIO

Established in 2014, LouDela Design specialises in residential & boutuque interiors on lthe west coast of Ireland. Founded by Louise Delahunty from my kitchen table in County Wicklow, I have been commissioned for diverse projects, in both new builds and renovations. My philosophy centres on crafting timeless spaces that celebrate a home's innate character. I place great emphasis on materiality, craftsmanship, and texture to create interiors with a distinctive sense of quality and style that authentically reflect my clients. Originally from Dublin, I have been based on the west coast since 2019, where I continue designing living spaces that balance functionality, aesthetics, and respect for organic integrity.

LOUISE DELAHUNTY

I qualified with a BA in Interior Architecture in 2006, developing my skills with award-winning practices including Frank Ennis Architects, Geyer Design, and Hedgeroe Home across Dublin, Melbourne, and Vancouver. In these roles I gained a wealth of experience working on high end hospitality & residential design projects across the world. I work by building close relationships with clients to understand how they live in their homes, translating this understanding into spaces that genuinely reflect their lifestyle. My attention to detail, nuance, and aesthetic ensures every project feels personally tailored. My distinct aesthetic combines contemporary design with traditional elements - harmonising modern pieces with heritage materials and antiques to achieve timeless, inviting environments that are both beautiful and functional.
